Frequently Asked Questions

The Club is currently CLOSED, under directives of the Victorian Government, announced on the 7th of June, 2020.
ALL AREAS of the Club are closed and we are not operating any take-away services.

At this stage, we anticipate that the Club will remain closed until the 19th of August, or until the Victorian Government announces we are allowed to operate in some capacity.

This communication was last updated on Friday 10th of July, 2020. We will continue to update this FAQ Forum as more information comes to light, please continue to refer to this information for updates.

We appreciate your patience during this uncertain time. If your question is not answered below, please feel free to email a staff member at enquiries@clubringwood.com.au and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Our phones WILL NOT be manned during the shutdown.

General

What areas are open?
All areas of the Club are currently closed

Is the Gaming Room open?
No. Under the current restrictions, All Gaming Rooms across Victoria remain closed. There is no date scheduled for the gaming lounge to re-open – the government will advise us and the public in due time. We understand that other state’s jurisdictions are opening gaming rooms, but at this stage in Victoria they remain closed.

Lounge

Is the Lounge open?
NO.

Are Keno and TAB available?
No. All areas are closed and we cannot process any Keno or TAB transactions.

Bistro

Is the Bistro Open?How will the bistro operate?
No. From June 9th the Bistro has closed until further notice,.

Are you offering any Take-Away options?
No.
Thank you for trying to support us and enjoy a meal at home, however we will not be offering any take-away meals or beverages during shutdown. We ask that you support smaller community businesses during this time.

Events & Entertainments

Whilst we know you’re excited to get back to normal, we will not be running any entertainment or events until restrictions ease.

When will bands, trivia, bingo and poker return?
At this stage, we are not permitted to run these activities. We will keep you updated when these activities can return.

Will you host more Tribute Shows & Dinner, Clairvoyant Nights and Morning Melodies?
At this stage, we are not permitted to run these activities. We will keep you updated when these activities can return.

Services

Is the bus running?
No. Once the Club is fully reopened this service will be reviewed

Footy Tipping

Is footy tipping still running?
No.
After Round 5, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Footy Tipping Competition. All tippers will receive a refund for this tipping fees. We will have this available for collection from the day we are able to reopen our doors. All further enquiries can be directed to enquiries@clubkilsyth.com.au.

What about my free drinks?
We understand that for many tippers, the weekly free tipping voucher is enjoyed when you place your tips. As a sign of goodwill, we will offer Free drink vouchers for the weeks which the Club re-opens during the AFL season, for you to enjoy when we can reopen our doors. Understandably, any past or missed Free Drink vouchers can not be credited.

When can I have a private function at the venue?

Membership

Will my membership be active? What about the time we’ve missed?
Due to the fluid nature of the situation, all decisions regarding your Membership will be made as we approach the possibility of reopening. At this stage the Club has already extended all memberships through to September 1, 2020.

Can my points be redeemed after the expiry period this year due to the pandemic?
Yes they can – a new date of expiry will be made once the Club fully reopens

I missed out on my Birthday Voucher, can I still get my free birthday meal?
We will review any missed vouchers and offer a short period to extend the expiry date to allow for you to use.

I have a voucher which expired whilst you were closed, can I still use it?
We will review any missed vouchers and offer a short period to extend the expiry date to allow for you to use.

Gaming

Is the Gaming Room Open?
No. There is no date scheduled for the re-opening of the gaming room – the government will advise accordingly

Is my favorite gaming machine going to be available?
We will endeavor to make a variety of Gaming Machines available once we re-open the gaming room in the future
